Well done Ladies! The entries this month have been fantastic, and this months challenge was not an easy one to scrap! We have another Late minute entry from......

Melinda Johns - Smile for Mummy

Hi Shazza,

I also managed to get this one done this month a Late
last minute entry.

I decided to turn the poster in its side and loved
the writing down one side and the main focal point
down the middle,.

I was flipping through pattern paper and come across
this one that has almost white Spirograph flowers in
the back ground, I thought perfect, Then all Ihad to
find was a silhouette person, all I had was a Man in
chipboard and I made it a Dress from black cardstock
to make it look like a girl, I like the end result.
I love my pages to have lots of photos and this
layout worked very well...

paper for your layout and the challeng :) Great
photos used of the bubba! I love how you dressed
your silohouette man too.
And the peacock was the perfect addition!
Great work - Cheers Shazza

We have a Last minute entry from .......

Lynnda Hosni - Monroe Style

Hi Shazza,

Attached is my take for March Challenge... It took me awhile to complete this simple layout.... To be honest, I'm stumped with S2S Challenge ...its always different from the rest...but in a way it's good for me... so I'm outta my comfort zone and style....

The background paper is from Crate Paper... it is orange but to make more orangy...I color with Orange paint.... Prima Marketing Black Swirl - for the swirl, Martha Stewart Doillies and twine as the spirograph...and me as the A black silohouette figure ...

Thanks for the chance again... for more visit me over at http://lybeauartyscrappy.blogspot.com/
 Lynnda Hosni

Hi Lynda!
Thanks for joining in the challenge this month. Some of the FS2S challenges are harder than others, this months challenge was not easy to incorporate all the criteria. I always love the different interpretations of the challenge, and appreciate all the entrants that have a go!
I love how you have have done a negative space challenge and love all your swirls and twine.
Great photo for your silohouette figure. Well done- Shazza

Here is another entry this month from.....

Liz Hocking - Idyllic

Hi Shaza,

Well I finally made it!!!! Was worried that I would not have time, but here is my take on the 'Vertigo' Poster.

Titled "Idyllic", I have used Bo Bunny 'Pina Colada Popsicile PP, 'Carrot' AC Cardstock, Print blocks screw brads, ATC Silhouttes, glitter net, October Afternoon Alpha and 'Seaside' PP for Bunting, sky blue Versa Ink and sundry shell jewellery and buttons.

Thanks for putting it up Shaz.

Thanks Shaz have a great day.

Love and peace

Liz

Hi Liz! this is a very clever entry, I loved the way you incorporated a porthole! I love looking through the porthole to your 'Idyllic' scene :) Someone must have gone on a cruise!!!  I love the Isle of Pines photos and your little added tag is so cute!! Great job of the challenge - Cheers Shazza

Another arty entry today from......

Kristal Barnwell - Life

Hi there :D

This is my take on the March Challenge.. I must admit I was stumped as to what to do with this one, as it took me way out of my comfort zone (lol) so I finally decided I wanted to make something for my wall.... with one of my favourite Quotes to inspire me. I used an orange background and the black silohouettes were hand cut and supposed to represent dancing.. and I also used squiggles of yellow paint.

Thank you    Kristal

Hi Kristal! Thanks for joining in this month with your great wall art :) I love the quote you used and your cut out dancing silohouette people, look great against your orange background. This will look great hanging on your wall! Great idea, and great work! - Shazza

Look at this great entry from.......

Sarah Rogers -Going Down

and here is a pic of the old Spirograph set that Sarah used :)

Hi Shazza,
Thanks for another great challenge. The last time I used this spirograph I was about 8. It was always kept at out nanas house. When she passed away  about 8 years ago we went through her things and found it again. I bought it home and it has been sitting in a box ever since. It has been so nice to get it out and remember the times we spent together using it.
Thank you
Sarah

We have another entry from....

Robin Jenkins - Lady Liberty

Hi Shazza,
Once again I decided to join you at From Screen to Scrap!  I love James Stewart, and I think I've seen just about all his movies at one point or another.  I went through pictures I took last October when we visited NYC (my hometown), because I remembered some pictures I took of the Statue of Liberty when we took Temple on a 3-hr boat cruise which went past Lady Liberty--I remembered some were in silhouette because of the time of the day and the angle of the sun.  The pic was perfect for this challenge.  I've met the criteria: orange background, silhouette, sprialgraph flowers at top of LO.  Thanks for another great challenge!
Hugs, RobinJ

Great work Robin! Excellent photo you have used..........she sure is a grand lady! I love the design of your page and your added embellies. Great spirograph flowers too! Cheers Shazza

Come and Meet our Movie Extra for the Month....

Lena Schreijenberg

I’m Lena Schreijenberg, born on the 17th of april 1961. Since my divorce I live with my two children, Carmen (born 1996) and Liam (born 1998), in Biggekerke, a small village in the South-West of the Netherlands. The two cats, Harley and Emmy, make our family complete.
I work for three days a week at the courthouse in Middelburg. That’s an office job but in my spare time I just love to create!! That “creating” is something I was born with I guess. As long as I can remember I am always busy to create things. As a little kid I made drawings, knitted and sewed dolls clothes, made cushins for my room…. Now I’m a qualified seamstress and I have made many clothes for myself and my kids. A few years ago I started painting and my best friend Marit introduced scrapping/art journaling to me. I took part in all three of her workshops in art journaling and I loved it!! In one lesson of these workshops we had to make a collage. And I completely fell in love with that technique!! It is soooo much fun going through magazines looking for the right pair of eyes.... the perfect face, mouth and hair!!
Please feel free to visit my blog www.sixliliesstudio.com
I hope you will enjoy browsing through my gallerys and I wish you all “happy creative” times!!!!

Hi Lena  and Welcome! We are so pleased to have you join us. We hope you enjoy your Movie Extra role role and look forward to your comments on the entries this month. Please make Lena welcome !! :)

Here is some examples of Lena art work, she really is a very talented lady...i would lave to take classes and learn how she puts these pages together - shazza
